hello world

Hello world. I am voidfemme. I'm new to programming and coding. I decided to get into programming in order to build a stable life for myself and to find a creative outlet that brings me peace and happiness. Currently, i am in school for a one-year certificate in computer information systems.

I am about 30 years old, and live in Portland Oregon. I am not quite proficient at any coding language, although I can scramble my way around python, html, and css. Currently, I'm dipping my toes into bash scripting. I'm a Linux user, and my current distro of choice is Arch. I'm an irredeemable tinkerer and finder-out-er of things. I rarely write poetry. I like writing for computers more than I like writing for people.

I am a bit of a mental case. I have severe ADHD and cPTSD. Having mental illness is like having an odd operating system in your head; society often lacks the compatible software to interact with mine. Perhaps that's why I really get along with Linux. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you found this blog, It isn't for you. Proceed with caution. This blog is for one person. That person is myself. This is a blog to help me find my way if I get lost. When I was young, I learned to take high-visibility plastic ribbon with me when exploring the wilderness, tying pieces of it to limbs in order to find my way back. That's exactly what this is. I'm charting unfamiliar forests, and I always want to be able to find my way back.
